Which one of these apple cider vinegar benefits on a budget would you choose?

I read once that "you shouldn't use a cosmetic for your skin that you wouldn't eat". That is because the skin is permeable and the chemicals will go right into your blood stream.

If you are a bit passionate about organic cosmetics and your health, then you will most surely love these organic apple cider vinegar benefits.

I started with the skin issues, because they are my main concern when I wake up in the morning, but apple cider vinegar is a highly valued medicine in our family. And even I know much about the benefits of apple cider vinegar, I somehow manage to find new uses.

Ever since I was a child, organic apple cider vinegar was an indispensable food supplement that my mother prepared using a simple recipe.

Although she used it mostly internally for cholesterol, rheumatism or high blood pressure problems, I am a bit reluctant to do that, because I am worried my teeth will go brown (they aren't naturally whitish). And I must admit, I'm afraid my gastritis would flare up..

But even for external use, the benefits list is so long, I could "have it put to work" every day. My personal favorite uses are for my look (the first three recommendations from the list), but I know it could help me with many other problems I have.

Healthy skin and nice complexion

Apple cider vinegar is effective in fighting acne because it removes bacteria, balances the skin pH and absorbs the excess sebum.

Use it like an aftershave (women actually don't have to shave :)) and splash it on your face. Don't worry about the smell, because when the vinegar evaporates, the smell will disappear too.

Don't forget to dilute the vinegar. I forgot once to do so, and I cleaned my face with a cotton ball dabbed in concentrated apple cider vinegar. I almost had a shock, like when you immerse your head into extremely salty water. I couldn't breathe because my nose was burning, and my eyes began to pour immediately. A couple of seconds passed until I realized what it happened and I washed my face. That feeling was gone, ufff.

Cellulite be gone

We all think everything we've tried is just time and money down the drain. This natural remedy is very cheap and has a real chance to work. Add organic apple cider vinegar in the massage solution and massage the legs.

You didn't think it would be that easy, did you? Cellulite is not a purely esternal cosmetic issue, but it comes from inside our body. Never doing exercise, bad eating habits, the toxins in our food (egz. GM food), combining the wrong foods, not enough rest, they all take their toll. And cellulite is only a small visible sign of all the unbalances these things do in our bodies.

Gargle away bad breath

I didn't have the chance to try this one, or better said, I'm not in the mood to gargle anything in the morning, but the science behind it seems quite logical.

Use a diluted solution of apple cider vinegar as an excellent remedy against halitosis (bad breath). Because of the acid content, you will get rid of the bacteria causing bad breath. Don't swallow it, just gargle.

The perfect natural deodorant

This is one of the apple cider vinegar benefits that my husband, Marius, loves most. This quick and easy raw organic deodorant makes him look like a DIY expert.

Did you know that the skin is permeable? Yes, and although the skin is the largest organ in our body, it is the thinnest too. So it is not a good idea to put cosmetics full of chemicals like parabens, petrolatum or sodium laureth sulfate on your skin. These dangerous chemicals will go directly into your blood stream.

That's why I have always sought to make my own organic cosmetics. Apple cider vinegar is one important ingredient in these recipes.

As you know, our skin has a little acidic pH (5.5). The good skin bacteria that protect us thrive on this pH. If the pH becomes more alcalinic, then pathogenic (bad) bacteria take over and cause the smelly body odor and other skin problems.

Here is where the use of apple cider vinegar comes into play. It will reduce the skin pH and act as an antibacterial agent.

I made a diluted solution of apple cider vinegar and filled an old perfume atomizer bottle. I didn't try it with heavy exercise, but for normal activity it does an excellent job.

Fatigue and headaches

Relieve the headache with this simple headache remedy - massage the temples with apple cider vinegar.

Or you can do steam inhalations with vinegar. This can be a bit of a problem, because if you already have a headache, there are small chances to take the time to heat the solution. What I do is ask my other significant half to prepare it. This natural remedy for headache is worth trying.

Not only that, but you can also ask you hubby for a vigorous massage with vinegar to get rid of all the pain and to reset the exhaustion accumulated over a day's work.

Constipation home remedy

Raw apple cider vinegar has a high content of pectin, a soluble fiber that improves digestion by balancing the level of stomach acid. The soluble fiber also makes the bowel movements more efficient.

Put 2 tablespoons of vinegar in a glass of water and drink 3 times daily, before meals. If you don't like the taste, dilute the vinegar with apple juice or grape juice.


Diarrhea is usually a reaction of our body to flush bacteria or viruses that we have ingested by eating bad food. So it's a good idea not to stop this cleansing process from the first day.

If the diarrhea persists, use vinegar (the same as the above recipe) as an anti-infective agent against bacteria causing diarrhea. Also the pectin fiber will soothe the irritated lining of the colon.

Leucorrhoea and other vaginal discharge

Put 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 2 liters of warm water and wash every day, until leucorrhea disappears. After that, do preventive washes once a week.

For urinary tract infections (UTI) do local baths with water and vinegar. The ailment should improve significantly.


My mother had terrible rheumatic pain for a very long time. Walking seemed like a torture some days. Over the years, she has tried various ointments and methods. Some of them worked in the beginning, but they soon stopped working.

After trying the apple cider vinegar she felt much better. At first, she took 1 tablespoon of apple vinegar mixed with 1 teaspoon of honey, for 3 months, during the winter. The pain has subsided and now she massages her arms and legs for prevention mostly.

It seems that certain substances in apple cider vinegar slow down the aging process of cartilage and epithelium.

Another healthy combination and super effective against rheumatism and colds is a mixture of apple cider vinegar and horseradish. Grate some horseradish and leave it overnight in vinegar. Strain and massage with this super enhanced vinegar.

Arthritis STOP

Apple cider vinegar can dissolve the uric acid crystals that cause the gout attacks.

Mix a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with honey and warm a little. Drink this mixture 3 times a day because it helps to dissolve the crystals and relieve the pain. Honey enhances the apple cider vinegar's effect, so you should use them together.

Unfortunately, this remedy brings temporary relief and does not cure arthritis for good. Here are other natural remedies for gout you can try.

Apple cider vinegar side effects and precautions

Use apple cider vinegar in moderation without side effects. Don't drink concentrated vinegar, but dilute it in water or juice, because it can attack tooth enamel and cause a burning sensation in the mouth and throat.

It is not recommended a long term use for postmenopausal which have an osteoporosis risk, because apple cider vinegar can decrease bone density and body potassium levels.
