High Blood Pressure Remedy

High blood pressure remedy - High blood pressure can be caused by restlessness, anger or anxiety.

Some herbs have relaxing effects on the body and can help eliminate mental tension, thus lowering high blood pressure.

High Blood Pressure Remedy

1. Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis) is a known sedative and is recommended for people who suffer from hypertension (HT) because of restlessness and anxiety states and get often palpitation, attacks of shortness of breath or abdominal pain.

2. Yellow Sweet Clover (Herba Meliloti) contribute to lowering blood pressure through peripheral vessel dilation. Use it as infusion.

3. Common Lime (Tilia platyphyllos, Tilia argentea, Tilia cordata - flowers) is indicated for its soothing effect in patients with hypertension accompanied by restlessness, anxiety or insomnia.

4. St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum - the air) removes mental tension and is recommended in hypertension associated with headaches, restlessness or insomnia.

5. Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) tea is a good sedative, antidepressant and helps eliminate states of anger, irritability and frustration that often maintain or even trigger hypertension. This tea is recommended, especially for agitated people who can not rest.

Herbal teas and medicinal plants useful for lowering high blood pressure

1. Herbal tea

  • Mouse-ear Hawkweed (Pilosella officinarum, Hieracium pilosella) 30 g / 1.06 oz,
  • Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) 30 g / 1.06 oz,
  • Hawthorn 10 g / 0.35 oz.Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) 30 g / 1.06 oz

Place a spoon of this mixture in 125 ml / 4.22 oz boiling water and let it infuse for 10 minutes. Drink one cup each morning and evening.

2. Tincture prepared from Blue Passion Flower (Passiflora caerulea), Rosemary or Betony (Betonica officinalis) or a combination of one or all of these plants associated with MeadowSweet (Filipendula ulmaria).

3. To relax both mentaly and phisicaly (tense muscles), drink Valerian or Viburnum (Viburnum) tincture associated with Meadowsweet and Rosemary.If you are stressed add Chamomile, Verbena, Wild oats or Pasque Flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris).

4. Herbal tea

  • St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
  • Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
  • Arnica (Arnica montana)

Drink 2-3 cups of hot tea daily.

5. Some plants work through their diuretic effect. They clean the body and help eliminate cholesterol deposits:

  • Birch (Betula pendula, Betula verrucosa) - use the leaves - it has a good effect on lowering blood uric acid.
  • Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) - the aerial part
  • Smooth Rupturewort (Herniaria glabra) - the aerial part
  • Heartsease (Viola tricolor) - the aerial part
  • Corn Silk (Stigmata Maydis)
  • Cherry and Sour Cherry stems (Stipites Cerasorum)
  • Bean pods (Phaseoli fructus sine seminibus)
