At first you will feel itching, tingling, heat and pain around the lips or the nose. In the following 48 hours cold sores (fever blisters) will develop, which will dry and heal with or without specific treatment in 11-12 days.

You must know that herpes is contagious and is spread by direct contact with herpes, with fluid from a herpes or herpes saliva of a sick person.
After the first occurrence of herpes heals there are two options: first, the body imunises itself against the virus (usually herpes simplex type I) and the second possibility is that the virus remains in the body waiting for a new opportunity to reactivate such as:
- physical exercise,
- a cold,
- successive exposure to the sun
- high stress, body fatigue

There are three weapons we can use against the herpetic virus:
- Increase immune resistance and the immune response to virus threat
