Constipation Remedy with Buckthorn bark and Bindweed

by Marius
(Constanta, Romania)

Buckthorn bark (Rhamnus frangula), Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) are herbal laxatives that increase peristalsis, while Lemon balm leaves (Melissa officinalis) are antispasmodic and relieve colic.

Prepare a decoction (boil for 3-5 minutes) from one tablespoon of all three herbs in a cup of water.

Drink the tea in the evening before bedtime. If the problem persists, drink the tea in the morning on an empty stomach.
